FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1. What time is camp check-in each morning?
Check in for camp each day is between 8:00-8:30am. By 8:45am the campers are on the field beginning morning field session.

2. What time do we pick campers up at the end of each day?
Campers check out between 4:45-5:15pm each day. If for any reason you are running late, you can contact the camp at 201-784-9898.

3. What do I need to do if someone else is picking up my camper?
At check-in in the morning, please provide the camp with a note stating who will be taking your camper home that day. Please make your camper aware of who they should be going home with that day.

4. What if I need to pick up my camper early?
At check-in in the morning, please let the camp personnel know what time you need to pick up your camper. We will have your camper ready for you in the lobby at the requested time.

5. What should campers bring to day camp each day?
Below is a list of items the camper should bring with them each morning for camp:

  • Soccer Ball
  • Cleats
  • Shoes for Indoor Soccer
  • Shinguards
  • Soccer Socks (2)
  • Flip flops or sandals to wear to lunch, pool, and recreation time
  • Swimsuit
  • Beach Towel
  • Extra t-shirt and shorts in case of inclement weather
  • Rain Gear
  • Sweatshirt to wear to lunch and recreation area where it is sometimes cool
  • NOTE: No electronic devices will be allowed on the field during field sessions. The camp recommends all valuables be left at home. The camp will NOT be held responsible for lost or stolen items brought to camp by the campers. (Cell Phones, iPods, CD Players, etc)

6. What do campers need to bring with them for residential camp?
Below is a list of items the camper should bring with them for residential camp:

  • Linens (Twin Size Bed)
  • Pillow
  • Clothes for week while off the field in evening
  • Soccer Ball
  • Cleats
  • Shoes for Indoor Soccer
  • Shinguards
  • Soccer Socks (2)
  • Flip flops or sandals to wear to lunch, pool, and recreation time
  • Swimsuit
  • Beach Towel
  • Extra t-shirt and shorts in case of inclement weather
  • Rain Gear
  • Sweatshirt to wear to lunch and recreation area where it is sometimes cool
  • NOTE: The dorms have television hookup. Campers are allowed to bring electronic devices but it is not recommended by the camp. There is a lounge on the floor of the dorm with a television. If campers do bring electronic devices, they are to be left in the dorm. No electronic devices will be allowed on the field during field sessions. The camp recommends all valuables be left at home. The camp will NOT be held responsible for lost or stolen items brought to camp by the campers. (Cell Phones, iPods, CD Players, Laptops, TVs, etc)

7. Does the camp provide lunch for the campers?
Campers eat lunch in the colleges' state-of-the-art cafeteria. Lunch is all you can eat with a full menu including but not limited to: sandwiches, pizza, hamburgers, hotdogs, fries, salad bar, pasta, chicken, cereals, ice cream, etc.

8. Is there water available on the fields?
All the soccer fields in the colleges' Athletic Complex have water fountains. There is no need to bring water bottles to camp. There are allowed, but the camp will NOT be held responsible for lost or stolen water bottles.

9. What does a typical day look like for the campers?

10. Where do the campers go during inclement weather?
The camp continuously tracks the radar during the day. If dangerous inclement weather is in the forecast, the campers move into the Bradley Center at the college and rotate activities including the pool, indoor futsal, and recreational activities.

11. Do the campers get a break from the sun during extremely hot days?
During the hottest part of the day, 11:30am-1:15pm, the campers are indoors for lunch and a rest period. From 1:15pm until check-out, the campers rotate activities including the pool, indoor futsal, recreational activities , and a field session, limiting the time they are in the hot sun outside.
